Human Resources Leader

We are seeking a team player with strong operations experience, to build a 'best in class' HR function focused on people development and leadership development. The individual will be a key member of the organization’s leadership team and will be responsible for tasks including: talent acquisition, payroll processing, people analytics, establishment and management of HR related policies and procedures, benefits and leadership development, and employee relations.  As an integral member of the team, the Human Resources Leader will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of corporate strategies.

 

Things we value in an Human Resources Supervisor

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Management/HR administration or other related college degree.

  • Three plus years of experience in a leadership level role of an HR department and prior experience managing and executing all payroll functions.

  • Working knowledge of HR related software suites such as Exponent HR and iCims.

  • Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer

  • HR related Industry involvement, certifications and accreditations.  SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred

  • A clear understanding of compliance requirements and federal and state regulations pertaining to programs like ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Medicare and Social Security

  • Prior experience with recruiting, on boarding and providing HR support to a pool of at least 250 employees.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

  • Problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • A people first mentality and customer service orientated approach to managing, supporting and working together with our grouping team of employees.
