Primarily responsible for working as a business partner to efficiently administer Human Resource processes and activities for the organization to develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.

Ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on HR generalist capable of managing the HR functions for a growing manufacturing company with 100+ employees




  • Maintain appropriate and accurate information in personnel files.

  • Serve as a central contact and resource for employees, and other outside contacts for the HR Department.

  • Maintain accurate tracing and documentation systems for leaves of absence including medical, personal and Family Medical Leave Act leaves.

  • Responsible for benefits administration including but not limited to: researching benefit programs that are available; representing benefits overview in new hire orientation and open enrollment meetings; addressing and resolving incoming inquiries regarding benefits questions and claims; track and monitor hourly and salary vacation accrual and usage.

  • Maintain HR Database with new hire, employee status change, and other pertinent information including collection of complete training records.

  • Support and assist investigations by researching, documenting and filing outcome and decision documentation.

  • Support hourly hiring activities through the following duties: staffing; participate in interview and selection of candidates; collection of complete employment documentation; administer the offer process and pre-employment activities.

  • Performance management and improvement systems.

  • Assist management in implementing strategic initiatives.

  • Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve the HR function.

  • Other duties as assigned.






  • Advanced technology skills

  • Associates Degree

  • Bi-Lingual Spanish and English preferred



  • High work capacity, dependable, results oriented and strong sense of urgency.

  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization.

  • Direct and empathetic communication style.                               

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Understand and interpret data while drawing logical conclusions bases on available inputs.

  • Critical thinking skills in standardized situations as well as non-routine problems.

  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize work accordingly.
