Onsite Safety is looking for an innovative Human Resources Manager that wants to make a difference in the culture of our rapidly growing organization. Throughout recent years, we have quickly outgrown our policies and procedures and are in need of an overhaul of the majority of our HR department and company documentation. Our company mission statement, “Honor God. Help people. Save Lives”, will guide you as you implement new items to help move us forward as a team and excel as an organization.

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an HR Manager who can make our company attract top talent in our industry. The HR Manager will be responsible for evaluating team member programs, recommending improvements to team member relations policies and making sure that all team member-related policies in each department align with our corporate goals and established regulations. The successful candidate will be charged with reducing Team Member turnover at our company and attracting top talent to fill open positions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The essential duties of this position include, but limited too:

(1) Leads the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. Provides leadership for Human Resources strategic planning.

(2) Ensure that the new hire orientation process properly introduces new team members to the corporate culture

(3) Establishes and leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.

(4) Utilizes the HRIS system to eliminate administrative tasks, empower team member, and meet the other needs of the organization.

(5) Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at team member satisfaction and retention.

(6) Coordinates all Human Resources training programs, and assigns the authority/responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs. Provides necessary education and materials to managers and team members including workshops, manuals, team member handbooks, and standardized reports.

(7) Manages the payroll process and ensuring the accuracy of team members pay.

  • This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the team member within that department.

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours.

  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree and five years of human resource experience, or nine years of experience in the HR field.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
