Whitsons Culinary Group, a leader in the food service industry for 35 years, family owned company is looking for a talented HR professional to join their team. So if you are a dynamic problem solver and enthusiastic business partner with 7 or more years of human resources experience, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate is preferred be bilingual (English/Spanish).

As a strategic partner the HR Business Partner works closely with the Vice President, Human Resources and Senior Management to align Whitsons HR plans and programs with Whitsons’ annual business plan and long term strategic objectives. The HRBP will be responsible for managing all HR issues in the region while interpreting policies and consulting with managers and team members on complex HR matters. HRBP will provide leadership coaching and counseling for managers and be responsible for executing Human Resources programs including Management/Employee Development, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning. 

 This position will be responsible for all Human Resource activities in the CT/MA region. Travel is required to multiple work sites and may require extended hours. Must possess drivers license in good standing and be able to drive own vehicle to work sites. As well use own smart phone for performing job duties.



• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required
• Masters in HR or Industrial Relations preferred

• PHR or SPHR (or equivalent) certification preferred

Other Qualifications, Experience:

• 7- 10 years HR Management experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• HRIS experience required – ADP, Ceridian or UltiPro
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Significant experience working with Union environments – multiple union experience helpful
• Possess high emotional intelligence to deal with variety of issues
• Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
