SCHEDULE:   Mon – Fri, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

 


SALARY:         $24.86 – $27.96 to start, based on qualifications

 

 

OVERVIEW:

Seeking an experienced Human Resources professional for our busy corporate HR department. Responsibilities include recruitment, benefits administration, employee separation process, job descriptions, leaves of absence, Workers’ Compensation administration, training, reporting and analysis and other HR administrative/clerical duties.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and at least 4 years’ HR experience demonstrating progressively increasing levels of responsibility involving knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of HR administration is required. The equivalent combination of education and HR experience appropriate for the position may be considered. Previous corporate HR experience is required. PHR certified preferred.

 

Previous experience with full cycle recruitment, including effective social media recruitment; on-boarding; benefits, leaves of absence and Workers’ Compensation administration; job description development; training development, facilitation and tracking; and HRIS administration, including report writing/generation required. Computer literate with intermediate skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Internet and social media. Solid knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to HR administration and the ability to apply that knowledge in job performance is required.

 

Excellent organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain continuous focus for extended periods of time and perform all work accurately. Ability to keep up and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, to learn, retain information, multi-task, properly prioritize daily work and respond with applicable level of urgency. Sound judgment, adaptable, dependable, resourceful, innovative and creative. Critical thinking and linear problem solving skills. Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures, take initiative, research and resolve problems and complete projects through to the end. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to handle stressful/sensitive situations in a professional and diplomatic manner. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime based on department needs.
