We are currently seeking a dynamic, flexible, collaborative, and organized HR professional with strong relationship-building and management skills to join our team. Reinders, Inc. is a family owned Distribution Company established in 1866, headquartered in Sussex, WI with 200 employees and 12 locations across the Midwest.   • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.

  • Plans, organizes and oversees all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

  • Supervises payroll function and performs high level administrative tasks for the processing of company payroll.

  • Plans, directs, coordinates and executes all HR protocols including recruitment, hiring, orientation, performance reviews, coaching, and discipline.

  • Compiles statistical reports, maintains records and analyzes data on competitive marketplace compensation, hires, transfers, absenteeism, performance reviews, and exit interviews.

  • Develops and maintains diversity initiatives; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

  • Processes accident reports and workers’ compensation claims; coordinates with Worker’s Compensation Insurance carrier to ensure timely processing of workers' compensation claims; completes all required OSHA reporting.

  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.




  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business field, preferred.

  • Career history that shows steady progression in HR Management and leadership for the last 7+ years. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws.

  • Superior analytic and problem-solving abilities — to identify discrete issues, obtain and evaluate relevant information, define and assess options, and implement solutions.

  • Strong relationship-building, team-building and management skills.

  • Strong understanding of ADP payroll software preferred.

  • Readily adaptable to the corporate culture and company objectives.

  • PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
