As a Human Resources & Recruiting Specialist, you will originate and implement practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of superior talent


  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans
  • Screen resumes
  • Perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
  • Event management and planning
  • Compensation and benefits administration


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two or more years of human resources experience
  • One or more years of recruiting experience
  • Familiarity with top recruiting and HR tools / software
  • Professional certification in human resources a plus
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Excellent organizational skills
