The Senior Recruiter will assist with ongoing recruiting activities including identifying, tracking, coordinating and communicating with staff-level recruits across all offices and practice areas. The ideal candidate will have between five and seven years of previous work experience and be looking for an entrepreneurial environment in which they can develop and grow their professional skills

Headquartered in Emeryville, California, BRG currently has over 40 offices across the U.S. and internationally. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm


  • Implement recruiting strategies designed to identify and source qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
  • Set up and manage job postings to attract qualified candidates
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to document recruiting activities
  • Review resumes, evaluating candidates' qualifications and strengths compared with job requirements
  • Communicate with recruits and coordinate logistics of interviews with BRG staff
  • Coordinate and communicate with various BRG hiring managers about their recruiting needs
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as current consulting staff and hiring managers, as well as external stakeholders, such as candidates, educational institutions and job boards
  • Collaborate across all practice areas and offices to ensure BRG maintains a consistent brand
  • Work alongside the Recruiting Manager to develop firm-wide recruiting processes and procedures to ensure all needs are being met
  • Partner with the Training Coordinator to ensure interviewers understand how to conduct behavioral interviews and how to properly evaluate candidates
  • Manage all phases of the recruiting process including: screening resumes, selecting candidates to interview, conducting phone screens, assisting with the offer letter process, extending offers and rejecting candidates


  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Five to seven years of previous work experience at a consulting firm or other professional services firm either as a consultant or as a recruiter
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven competency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and MS Outlook (or similar email application). Experience with an applicant tracking system preferred, particularly iCIMS and UltiPro
  • Ability to use creative sourcing tools and techniques such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc., to attract potential candidates for job openings
  • Interest in understanding BRG's various service offerings and the necessary qualifications required to be a successful employee at BRG
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain rapport with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver recruiting strategies and initiatives
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively manage time and priorities. A desire for an entrepreneurial work environment is preferred
