Apply your broad human resources knowledge and expertise in non-exempt recruiting and day-to-day operations of staffing programs to make a strong impact in a dynamic and diverse organization. The Staffing Programs Specialist will be responsible for requisition to hire process for primarily non-exempt, contingent or agency sourced positions, as well as the administration of HR programs with emphasis in staffing and recruitment. As a member of the Corporate HR team, effectively partner with other HR team members in each office location, and managers within the organization to ensure effective processing and administration of programs for regular Performant employee hiring, as well as contingent staffing, college hiring, internships and other HR programs.

You will:
-Listen to business customers and understand specific candidate qualifications required to meet hiring needs 
-Develop staffing strategy, recruit and fill hiring needs for assigned requisitions and meet hiring goals
-Listen to candidates and assess suitability and interest, and align with the right fit for Performant employment opportunities
-Administer and  contribute to the improvement of staffing programs, processes and tools for a diverse organization such as immigration, interns, scholarship, and others.
-Own day-to-day operations of contingent staffing program - onboarding new agencies, processing of job orders, tracking status and on-boarding and off-boarding of contingent staff, and  the central point of contact and control for company-wide contingent staffing.
-Post offer onboarding and orientation of new hires (both regular employees and contingent workers) for Corpporate assigned staffing
-Provides insight into staffing challenges by analyzing programs, staffing activity, and developing strong report and credibility with client groups
-Produces standard and ad-hoc reporting regarding staffing activity and status
-Understands the dynamics of assigned client organizations and consider appropriate practices and processes that will maximize effectiveness of staffing approaches and programs
-May lead staffing projects as assigned
-Contributes to the maintenance of templates and set-up in the Applicant Tracking System
-Shares best practices (and train as appropriate) on new or changing programs, processes and tools, with other staffing focused members of the HR staff in field locations.

Perform other Duties and Responsibilities:

-Completes all required training assigned to maintain in good standing for compliance purposes
-Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives 
-Communicate ideas and process improvements, or policy and procedure changes regarding employment practices.
-Participate in project initiatives and performs other related duties as required or requested to support the HR strategy.
-Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. 

Physical Requirements

This full-time position is in a fast-paced office environment, requiring:
-Heavy use of computer and phone.  
-Lift/carry/push/pull under and over 10lbs occasionally
-Keying frequency, handling, reaching, fine manipulation
-Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases
-Some minimal travel may be required to other office locations occasionally


Required Skills and Knowledge:

This position requires a well rounded general HR knowledge and experience, coupled with strong core staffing skills, with an infectious positive can-do attitude, and  the ability to adapt rapidly to changing business needs.

-Demonstrated  experience and knowledge in recruiting and HR legal environment
-Demonstrated knowledge and ability to administer staffing  programs, processes and policies for diverse position types from requisition to on-boarding
-Staffing experience in dynamic fast-paced environment
-Ability to successfully meet hiring goals
-Ability to communicate and sell a value proposition to candidates
-Requires good influencing and facilitation skills.
-Applies excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills both in one-on-one situations and in larger group meetings.
-Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues
-Demonstrates good judgment and possesses a keen attention to detail
-Demonstrates initiative and creativity to drive innovative solutions
-Ability to prioritize and produce high quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
-Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem resolution skills.

-Solid technical skills in Applicant Tracking Systems and/or HRIS systems preferred and quick learner of new systems
-Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education and Experience:

-BA/BS or equivalent practical experience
-5+ years of related recruiting and program administration experience in a diverse environment
