We are seeking an experienced, committed and enthusiastic professional to join our Human Resources department, as Talent Acquisition Recruiter located in our Northbrook, Illinois corporate offices.

  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partner to understand business needs and job requirements, and ensure recruitment strategies are compelling, consistent and cost effective.
  • Source candidates to build a robust candidate pipeline using a variety of outlets; seek out and explore creative, cost-effective new ways to source talent.
  • Process job requisitions to determine and execute, within defined/prescribed guidelines, the appropriate advertising/social media outlets, networking, referral and college outreach, posting positions internally and externally.
  • Screen, interview and assess candidates, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers and act as the liaison between the candidate and hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Coordinate the hiring process by scheduling interviews, facilitating the selection process, extending offers and coordinating background checks, as needed.
  • Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable jobs and stay up to date with industry trends to attract, source and select the best candidates.
  • Educate and coach hiring managers and appropriate associates on interviewing techniques, processes and tools.
  • Partner with HR COE, including Compensation and Compliance as needed to facilitate recruitment and selection process.
  • Provide ad hoc recruitment reports and statistics to management to assist in the planning and forecasting of recruitment needs and to adjust future actions based on ROI/results.
  • Advise and influence managers throughout the hiring process and debrief, and close requisitions in a timely manner ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and maintain contracts and relationships with vendors, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and secure the placement of temporary workers, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • 2 years previous talent acquisition and recruitment experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous social media recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Fluency with applicant tracking systems, internet search engines, online job advertising vehicles and job aggregators
  • Ability to embrace and leverage current and new technology to support the business; participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Platform and ATS experience
  • Advanced experience sourcing and networking using current techniques and tools
  • Must be highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including face-to-face, Google Hangout, and over the phone  and email
  • Collaborative team-player with exhibited ability to operate in a highly fluid environment
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Highly motivated and well organized
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Excellent reading and written language skills (English)
