We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President, Human Resources who will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team and will lead and manage the Human Resources team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for the oversite of the organization’s human resources functions including talent management and retention, compensation, benefits administration, labor/employee relations, labor compliance, strategic planning, staff development and policy and procedure development.


  • Develop and implement human resources policies to meet the organizational needs, comply with state and federal laws and support the organization’s mission and vision
  • Work with officers and senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives to achieve company goals
  • Partner with officers and senior leadership to analyze organizational trends in employee engagement/satisfaction, retention, etc.
  • Champions company culture, team spirit and a collaborative work environment
  • Advise management regarding hiring decisions, equal employment opportunity, compensation, benefits, and health/safety issues
  • Conduct investigations on employee relations issues and advise management on appropriate resolution
  • Monitor employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans; oversee involuntary termination procedures and approve employee separations notices and related documentation
  • Oversee and support the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations
  • Monitor State and Federal laws, along with industry best practices to develop and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the various government regulations

Status: Full Time/ Exempt



  • Ten (10) years progressive, generalist experience in all aspects of Human Resources management, with five (5) years in management or executive level position in a comparable size organization, preferably in manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field. SPHR preferred
  • Experience developing and leading a high performing team
  • Knowledge of state/federal labor laws and regulations required
  • Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Leadership and Organizational Development and Employee Relations functions
  • Experience developing and implementing efficient HR procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity and confidentiality
