Purpose and role of job:

Responsible for the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of the company’s benefits plans and HRIS system. Additionally, the position plans, directs and carries out policies relating to all phases of benefits and HRIS plus will assist the HR team as needed.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that benefit programs support the organizations’ strategic objectives by remaining knowledgeable of the key business fundamentals of PFNonwovens.
  • Partners with Broker to evaluate and recommend new benefit plans or modifications to existing.
  • Creates and maintains recordkeeping systems and procedures on insurance coverage’s, claims, pension/retirement plans and personnel transactions/activities such as new hires, promotions, transfers and termination.
  • Is in-house expert on HRIS system and processes. Responsible for maintaining the system, training the HR team and ensuring that all HRIS and Payroll data is accurate, interfaces are written and in place timely and that the system runs smoothly.
  • Manages annual Open Enrollment & communication materials, SAR’s and Plan Documents.         Ensures that the HRIS system is updated to reflect any necessary changes.
  • Responsible for timely filing of all state and federally required information such as ACA, PCORI and anything that may be identified in the future.
  • Serves as employee advocate for team members on all of their benefit matters while balancing the role of internal business manager.
  • Oversees new employee orientations to ensure and promote a positive attitude toward the organizations’ goals.
  • Interacts with the Sr. HRBP to ensure that programs, practices and policies comply with applicable government laws and regulations. Works closely with the Sr. HRBP on benefit plans and strategies to meet organizational requirements.
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of benefit concepts, practices and procedures including networking with peers, insurance brokers, and consultants.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and objectives. Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management. Be flexible, hands-on and results oriented. Also, must be a team player.


Education and experience requirements:

  • A bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or related field.


  • 10 years of experience as a Benefits Manager.


  • Must have a minimum of 5 years managing an HRIS system


  • Must have strong business acumen with a proven track record of progressively increased Human Resource roles in manufacturing.



Work Environment:

Office Environment. Will spend time on the manufacturing floor
