In the role of Director, Diversity and Inclusion, you will be integral to realizing our vision of FMC as a progressive, inclusive company, where employees come to work each day engaged and with a sense of belonging.

You will bring deep experience in D&I best practices with a global perspective. You will assess the current state of the D&I program across FMC, align with executive stakeholders on “must win” goals, and prioritize strategic elements for implementation.

Essential Functions:

             Serve as FMC’s senior thought leader and strategist for diversity and inclusion

             Align with the D&I executive sub-committee on strategic priorities (“must win”) and develop three-year roadmap and associated budget

             Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans

             Develop global and regional plans focused on established D&I priorities that engage stakeholders within the business, HR, legal, corporate communications and sustainability and drives accountability across the enterprise

             Partner with Talent Management colleagues to incorporate D&I elements into learning programs and talent acquisition strategies

             Define metrics that measure impact of D&I programs

             Design and produce D&I reports  

             Deepen the impact of existing affinity groups by engaging them in talent development initiatives, D&I education campaigns and recruitment drives. Expand the affinity groups both in terms of groups they cover (e.g. women, LGBTQ, differently abled people, veterans, people of color) and geographies

             Guide business leaders in understanding diversity from a global and local perspective

             Bring new practices, and programs to FMC that accelerate a climate of inclusiveness

             Drive alignment between D&I initiatives, culture initiatives and employee engagement initiatives

             Own and manage D&I executive sub-committee meetings

             Remain current on D&I practices through external networks and organizations


Education and Experience


         •    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s preferred

    You have a minimum of 5 years leading diversity and inclusion in a growing company with a global footprint and 5000+ employees. 10+ years of experience overall

    Your track record of success in D&I will include measurable change resulting from strategies and practices you have implemented

    You are well versed in stakeholder engagement across different levels (CEO, business leaders, local employees)
