Job Summary

The Director of Field Learning is responsible for building sales enablement programs that support the rapid evolution of Cydcor’s National sales team. You will oversee all aspects of our field learning programs to ensure the sales organization is equipped with the right content, skill set and productivity tools to maximize sales growth. The Director of Field Learning partners with sales leaders to identify and prioritize knowledge and skill gaps within our sales organization. You will create engaging content to accelerate ramp times, as well as improve depth of knowledge with the goal to improve overall effectiveness. This is a hands-on position with high visibility and impact to the success of Cydcor.

Job Description

  • Lead the creation and implementation of a Field Learning strategy focused on driving performance of field-based sales agents
  • Design, develop, and deliver world class learning programs that are experiential, drive behavior changes and increase performance within national field-based sales organization
  • Develop learning curriculum that aligns learning and performance strategies
  • Facilitate solution, skill and organizational learning programs for sales, and provide coaching to managers (occasionally) for continued reinforcement
  • Oversee ongoing needs assessments resulting in recommendations for, creation of and subsequent targeted programs where enablement will provide quantifiable increase in performance and productivity
  • Evaluate the business impact of learning programs through use of learning and performance metrics
  • Communicate program objectives, deployment plans and results to Key Stakeholders and Executive Teams
  • Build and maintain appropriate learning and support materials for programs
  • Build, Lead, Manage and Develop a high performing team
  • Partner with Director of Digital Learning & Innovation to bring learning programs to life in a digital format
  • Build strong relationships and influence with our Field Sales Leadership

Requirements

The Successful Applicant Will Have

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for pioneering new frontiers in the learning world. Thrives in an environment of ambiguity.
  • Proven track record in solution/value selling, pre-sales or consulting activities and/or developing selling skills in others. Ability to translate this skill to a scalable learning strategy is a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of Sales Coaching or Training experience across a variety of delivery medium
  • Proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Bench marking)
  • Experience in facilitation, training, coaching sales professionals
  • Management and Leadership experience, preferably leading sales teams
  • Strong in building and maintaining relationships
  • Experience in analyzing business needs and selling value to customers
  • Professional with project/program management experience
  • Experienced at establishing priorities and meeting swift deadlines in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment
