Reporting to the CHRO, the Employee Experience CoE Lead partners with executive leadership and key stakeholders to design and implement strategic communications programs to create clarity, confidence and connection to our vision, mission, values, and business strategy and help build our reputation and corporate brand inside and outside the company. This individual should have an extensive track record of developing and successfully implementing communication and employee engagement programs while using multiple platforms and media, preferably from a large, global company. This individual will be:

  • Accountable for designing strategy, implementing, and overseeing global employee experience work (e.g. Communications, employee surveys, intranet posting, project announcements, community engagement).
  • Accountable for planning, creating, and delivering multi-faceted communication initiatives that engage, inform, and inspire employees globally.
  • Responsible for top level org communications, acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement the company’s global employee communications strategy and editorial schedule in support of business strategy and priorities.
  • Write, develop and edit messages for a variety of mediums and events including the intranet, town halls, newsletters, social media and digital signage.
  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple initiatives across organization including company-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Drive employee understanding of the business strategy, our purpose and values with campaigns and compelling stories.
  • Facilitate interactive, two-way communications forums and build a roadmap of intentional engagements annually.
  • Develop a comprehensive internal communication strategy that drives employee engagement and meaningful connection to the company's vision, values, and strategy.
  • Develop a robust executive, management, and organization communication practice that support senior-level executives and leaders throughout the company, helping them to engage with employees and share timely, relevant business information.
  • Manage and execute regular cadence of monthly, quarterly and annual company communication by CEO to team members and leaders, including all-employee meetings, town halls, and regular digital/interactive communications.
  • Manage editorial cadence of internal program communications, providing updates on key programs across all functions and major initiatives, among others, to team members and external audiences, where appropriate.
  • Support organizational announcements and strategy rollouts to employees.
  • Use existing internal channels such as intranet, email, events, and collaboration tools to communicate with both office/wired and manufacturing/non-wired employees in ways that advance the company's mission, culture, and brand. Recommend new channels and programs as appropriate.
  • Develop proven methodologies and procedures to guide consistent and quality communications across all teams, divisions and regions.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of internal communication programs and develop recommendations to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of employee communications.

Employee Engagement

  • Drive an employee-centric focus across our HR offerings and enabling technology platforms to facilitate growth and retention. 
  • Create and execute on strategy for multi-faceted employee engagement programs and multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Implement tools and processes to capture the voice of the employee in a modern and dynamic way - leveraging all forms of data collection across the employee lifecycle (including new hire surveys, stay interviews, exit surveys, and engagement surveys) to inform programs. 
  • Collaborate with HRBPs team to surface critical insights for leaders; model and track success metrics to continuously improve engagement tools and programming, as well as tying these insights to business outcomes. Successfully build strong working relationships in a matrixed environment across key stakeholder groups, such as HRBPs and business leaders, as well as frontline employees and managers. 


  • Provide ongoing recognition, feedback and development, holding employees accountable for success.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports in the establishment of area plans, short/long term goals.
  • Design functional area infrastructure and changes to supporting processes and systems.
  • Translates the details into the “big picture” to develop and adjust short- and long-term strategies.
  • Provides ongoing recognition, feedback and development, holding employees accountable for success. Create an environment where employee feedback facilitates positive change.


Education and Experience Profile

  • 10+ years of experience with leading and developing comprehensive communications, engagement, and change management strategies
  • BA or BS degree in English, Literature, Journalism, PR, Marketing
  • Experience with internal communications and employee engagement
  • Experience with reputation management
  • Experience with using story-telling communications to connect with the audience and drive change
  • Ability to travel, as required

 Required Skills

  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of HCM systems and integrations
  • Proven expertise in project and change management
  • Sound business acumen and well-developed assessment, judgment and critical thinking abilities
