The Director, HR Business Partnerships is responsible for translating business strategies into people insights at the functional or local level. Individual applies organizational design methodology to create and implement the best design that maximizes performance and results. This role holds the business leader accountable for driving the people agenda.

 Nature and Scope:

  • Leads deployment of Masco and Delta Faucet Company HR strategies, initiatives and programs, ensuring global consistency and delivering impactful results
  • Translates assigned functional and segment strategies and annual business plans into a people plan aligned to Masco and Delta Faucet Company's talent and organizational philosophies
  • Collaborates and partners across the HR organization to ensure successful execution of HR processes and serves as the escalation point for the business to resolve HR process issues
  • Partners with HR Center of Excellence (COE)  to develop and deliver talent and succession plans
  • Performs talent and organization diagnoses to align with and drive strategy. Prioritizes and executes on solutions that will deliver the most benefits. Accountable for bench strength and the organizational health in assigned functional areas
  • Engages and influences executive leaders around the people strategy and executes throughout the organization

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Builds and executes talent plan for functional areas addressing the most critical needs
  • Successfully executes talent related strategies within functional areas
  • Partners to create organizational structures, designs roles and builds capabilities to enable functional initiatives
  • Reviews workforce analytics/trends and diagnoses root causes or issues and identifies performance gaps by using a structured problem-solving approach



  • Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's preferred
  • 10 or more years of related experience
  • Effective problem solver with strong analytical skills to identify root causes, understand trends, develop recommendations and hold business partners accountable for results
  • Strong client relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in developing consultative  relationships with executive leaders, including the ability to influence decision makers
  • Critical thinking skills who can develop and implement effective people strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor and respond to HR and company metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to drive broad complex projects to succession completion
  • Ability to take an opposing stance as needed
  • Ability to collaborate and create/leverage internal and external networks.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%


  • A combination of Human Resource experience in the following disciplines:  Organizational design, performance management, succession planning, business consulting, compensation, employee engagement, coaching, learning and development, talent acquisition, data analysis and employee relations
