Major nonprofit organization headquartered in NYC has excellent opportunity for an experienced Benefits professional to direct and manage all employee benefits programs. We are seeking a candidate who can work in a fast paced environment with a customer service focus and strong HRIS skills.

Responsibilities include management of both fully and self-insured group insurance plans, reconciles monthly premiums, funding and monitors carrier feeds. Works with third party administrators, brokers and benefits vendors. Coordinates renewals, open enrollment and employee self-service, including preparation of materials. Conducts orientation and prepares employee communications. Administers 403(b) plan including annual nondiscrimination testing data, worker’s compensation program and Leave management for FMLA and PFL.  Ensures compliance with ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and OSHA, and other pertinent employer benefits laws/ regulations.

 

Salary to $90K with outstanding benefits!! 

Requirements

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • PHR /SHRM or SHRM SCP preferred, CEBS a plus
  • At least 5 years+ experience in a senior benefits position.
  • Must have advanced reporting skills, be detail orientated, and proficient with MS Word/Excel
  • Excellent communication skills to work with all levels of staff
  • HRIS experience with Oracle, People Soft, or similar system for benefits administration required
