his position performs a full range of activities in support of ManTech’s compensation and performance management programs, systems and compliance. Interfacing with Management and HR staff, is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the compensation and performance management programs for ManTech’s employees.  Analyzes, maintains surveys and formulates recommendations that support job evaluation programs and ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. The scope of this position is corporate-wide.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts and is responsible for day to day and annual review of ManTech’s compensation program structure conducts in-depth market analyses
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding pay structures, position titles, and grade assignments that maintain equitable levels and rates within the organization
  • Contributes to the completion of special compensation studies for specific functional areas; analyzing market trends, completing statistical studies, and developing recommendations and actions designed to attract, retain, and reward employees
  • Ensures that the administration of the compensation programs are in compliance with established guidelines, processes, procedures and applicable laws
  • Ensures for appropriate and timely audits and updates; communicates compensation processes as needed
  • Administers the annual focal point compensation and performance review processes; activities include overseeing system applications, data testing, supporting end users, extracting data for reporting and processing
  • Acts as bonus plans administrator for all ManTech bonus plans
  • Ensures that all compensation related systems and data tables are maintained and performs regular extracts and reports from the HRIS to create general and business unit specific compensation reports. Reports are generated from the following environments: Workday, SharePoint, Cognos, and Excel
  • Performs as key contributor in all compensation system upgrade development, testing, and implementation
  • Presents weekly new employee orientation for compensation and performance management modules
  • Participates in and delivers compensation and performance management training to field HR staff as needed

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and twelve to fifteen years of progressive Human Resources experience in employment and staffing
  • Five or more years in a management capacity and supervisory/management experience
  • HRIS experience- Workday preferred, but any cloud system. Focus on automating manual process and integrating compensation activity from spreadsheets to system based logic
  • Experience supporting Board Compensation Committee reporting and decision making requirements for a publicly traded company
  • Experience in a total rewards environment with responsibility for benefits strategy and design supporting cash to non-cash value proposition and business outcomes.
