Lead, manage and develop a team to establish long-term recruitment strategies to bring top interns and entry-level hires from undergraduate and graduate campuses into SC Johnson.  The Manager will promote and develop SC Johnson’s recruitment brand across the organization and develop a professional Campus recruitment process for all US based functions.
  • Responsible for the implementation, enhancement and oversight of the campus recruiting strategy and processes for selected recruiting programs
  • Direct management of campus recruiting teams responsible for planning and facilitating all campus initiatives (marketing, campus relations, on site events, interviews, and early career programs)
  • Lead reporting initiatives for Divisional Management and business stakeholders, including hiring forecasts, hiring targets, diversity recruiting, budgets and competitor information
  • Establish, lead and maintain a positive rapport with key campus personnel, special interest groups, candidates and vendors
  • Direct the management of logistics for diversity career fairs including registering, diversity presentations, communication and planning
  • Partner with senior business managers to determine full-time entry-level hiring needs from campus; identify target schools; coordinate candidate selection process, including resume collection and reconciliation, resume review, interviewing and decision processes
  • Manage the process to identify and build campus recruiting teams across SC Johnson businesses that are responsible for determining and executing the functional campus strategy (i.e., campus events, faculty relationships, developing relationships with prospective candidates)
  • Lead the Commercial Program and recruiting teams. Partner with the Commercial campus recruiting teams to determine and execute the campus strategy, and meet with senior leaders to align on overall commercial campus recruiting strategy, and program
  • Manage the sourcing of rising seniors/university graduates to fill full-time positions. Manage processes for business units to screen, select, and interview candidates. Determine offer packages
  • Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion to present SC Johnson as an employer of choice for candidates on-campus by identifying and creating events targeting diverse student groups
  • Lead the planning and coordination of communications and on-campus activities to engage students
  • Manage and foster the relationships with career services, faculty and student organizations to understand student trends and competitive landscape, develop a multifaceted outreach and on-target messaging initiative to increase name recognition and SC Johnson value proposition on campus and schedule recruiting events
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition COE, leverage the SCJ Employee Value Proposition for on-campus marketing campaigns. Evaluate each campaign's value based on cost effectiveness and ability to attract top-level candidates
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with and ensure timely communication with candidates
  • Serve as a contact person and a source of information for new hires
Intern Programs
  • Partner with planning teams and other internal groups to set strategy lead and administer the Summer Internship Program. 
  • Manage and evaluate business requests for interns, manage communications with intern managers regarding selection, on-boarding, program events and the performance evaluation process. 
  • Serve as administrative manager for the interns during the program
  • Oversee the relationship with the housing vendor and any escalations as needed
  • Oversee the professional program with Prairie School for elementary students
  • Work with a shared HR Administrative support to coordinate and facilitate all logistics associated with hosting university activities, including scheduling and conducting interviews and arranging information sessions, activities, and presentations with key clubs and organizations
  • Responsible for expense forecasting and control for recruiting budgets
  • Be knowledgeable about and able to appropriately explain SC Johnson benefits and recruitment related policies and programs
  • With the Talent Acquisition COE, stay abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
  • With Compensation, gather competitive industry information regarding salary, benefits and employment practices and advise management appropriately
  • Oversee and maintain accurate and up to date recruiting data. Create and distribute recruiting activity reports and budgets as required. Conduct management presentations regarding recruiting activity as needed
  • Contribute towards broader recruiting team projects
  • Manage Campus recruiting scorecard. Perform trend analysis and utilize data for program improvement
  • Accurately maintain all systems of record, providing EEOC and other reports as requested
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on campus or working with MBAs/graduate students, working with NACE
  • Prior experience handling high volume campus recruiting: understanding of recruiting process, including pipeline management, profile interpretation and preparation; sourcing, screening and assessing interview experience; data analysis experience
  • Applicant tracking system (BrassRing preferred)
  • Experience managing small recruiting teams
Professional Skills Requirements
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Strong communication skills, relationship development and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, career services, faculty

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7+ years of campus recruiting experience or full-time experience hire recruiting
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks during busy season
