Job Description:

The Employee Experience Business Partner will be a key member of our Human Resources team focused on promoting the Newport Group employee experience. Based in Folsom, CA we are looking for someone who is energetic, people focused, and is excited to build engagement programs that support what a great place Newport Group is to work. The Employee Experience Business Partner will:

  • Take ownership of creating a top-tier employee experience that will drive our employee engagement strategy forward, further developing a culture and environment that supports business success
  • Monitor overall employee satisfaction and partner with leadership to develop and implement action plans, providing recommendations to senior leaders on areas / departments of engagement deficiency
  • Plan, develop, and facilitate the implementation of programs and unique morale-based approaches including: contests, monthly calendars, events, and theme days within the organization
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners to assess, report, and implement engagement initiatives aimed to promote the overall employee experience
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless and outstanding onboarding experience
  • Assist in the facilitation of new employee orientation and portray a positive and professional image of the company
  • Develop and implement the exit interview strategy and deliver results and suggested actions to location leaders
  • Draft employee communications and manage corporate intranet content
  • Act as the HR liaison with Wellness committees, manage the corporate wellness program (physical, mental, and financial), and partner with the HR team and lines of business to promote and communicate wellness activities
  • Manage recognition programs that include quarterly peer awards and length of service recognition programs
  • Manage various employee discount programs
  • Develop and implement diversity, inclusion, and community outreach strategies and track metrics
  • Design, organize, and lead ongoing training on diversity and inclusion and provide diversity resources for management and staff

 

 

Requirements

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in human resources
  • General understanding of Human Resources processes and functions
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint
  • Proven project management experience and ability to effectively communicate with employees and management at all levels of the organization
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage others internally and externally, develop and maintain effective relationships, and promote positivity throughout the organization.
  • Accountability – taking ownership of what you do and delivering quality results
  • A resourceful and pragmatic approach with a roll-up your sleeves mentality
  • Aptitude for analyzing data to effectively translate metrics and trends into actions
