Growing Property Management company is looking to add an Employee Experience Director to join our team. 

The Employee Experience Director will provide support to more than 1,000 associates nationally in the areas of organizational development, performance management, executive and management coaching, succession planning, engagement and retention planning, workforce planning, compensation planning, and employee relations management.

This new team member will report to the VP of Marketing and Training and collaborate across the organization to create a positive experience for all stakeholders. The right candidate needs to be a natural writer that thrives in a fast-paced, evolving culture and natural agent of change and innovation.

Key functions you will perform!

Human Resources and Employee Engagement:

-      Drive an employee-centric experience strategy that aligns with the company culture and core values

-      Utilize workforce analytics and collaboration across the organization to identify opportunities and challenges and drive outcomes

-      Create and execute an employee recognition program that ties company culture to retention

-      Expand company's community-focused programs to ensure decentralized employees are fully engaged

-      Facilitate effective employee relations and employment practices in order to create a positive, ethical and effective work environment

-      Support associate on and off-boarding and provide employee relations assistance throughout the associate (employee) lifecycle

-      Gain credibility and build collaborative relationships with support departments and the greater HR team (Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, etc.)

-      Develop a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy and monitor implementation. Liaise with head of recruitment and the internship program to articulate hiring and promoting protocol in line with DEI values

Communications and Processes:

-      Lead the communications efforts required for organizational change management

-      Serve as company's storyteller and develop creative internal marketing plans to promote performance, learning and development programs

-      Author communications from a variety of stakeholders ranging from executives to support teams

-      Create, edit, organize and deploy a wide variety of project and program collateral and communication tools; serve as team’s internal “communications guru”

-      Manage and execute a dynamic employee communication strategy that aligns with and supports the employee experience strategy

-      Enhance the digital employee experience, utilizing industry best practices and technologies that meet the employee in a time and space convenient to them

-      Serve as project manager and program manager for a variety of recurring processes, special projects and initiatives

-      Streamline policy creation with stake holders and unify communication platforms

Coaching and Employee Development:

-      Provide 1:1 coaching and/or programs to address challenges related to areas such as workforce planning/selection, compensation, retention, organizational structure, associate development, and talent management

-      Develop feedback mechanisms across the company so that all employees have the opportunity to feel heard and receive feedback on a regular basis and to ensure that interpersonal and HR-related issues are responded to in an effective and timely manner

Additional Requirements:

-      A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business Administration; advanced degree a plus.

-      Minimum 7 years’ experience in Human Resource disciplines, including talent management, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity and inclusion with a passion for human capital strategy

-      Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role

-      Excellent written communication skills, including editing and proofreading skills. Prior experience creating effective Power Point decks required. Editorial and/or formal communication experience a plus

-      A hands-on and creative approach to understanding employee perspectives; the ability to monitor ‘the pulse’ of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

-      The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and shifting priorities

-      Ability to manage projects and lead programs from conception, to execution, to measuring results

-      Success in creating and driving effective employee relations and retention programs

-      Proven track record of building and managing strong collaborative relationships

-      Ability to work across all levels of the organization in a team environment
