TTCI’s Human Resources team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced Employee Relations & Talent Manager to work within our Human Resources organization. Our new team member will be responsible for development and administration of the employee relations program, including performance management and career management.  This position will also conduct full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for TTCI, as well as maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion and succession planning. This position will work closely with the Legal and Total Rewards Manager and report to the Assistant Vice President – Business Services.

 Primary Duties

  •  Develops the strategic plans for career development and recruiting efforts.  Develops and maintains relationships with targeted schools and military recruiting organizations.  Represents the organization at selected job fairs as needed.
  • Assists management with performance concerns, disciplinary action and conflict management issues.
  • Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning).
  • Participate in organizational strategic planning meetings. 
  • Research and assist in the development of training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.        
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual and intern personnel. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
  • Maintains organizational charts and employee directory.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. 
  • Administers the tuition reimbursement program.
  • Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resource management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 10+ years of broad HR experience including talent and performance management.
  • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
  • Experience working with organizational development for operations in a large organizational and/or functional business unit.
