To be part of the AMA is to be part of our Mission to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health.  Join the AMA team as the HR Coordinator in Human Resources.  As part of the team, you will provide operations support to HR group, with a primary focus on Employment Services and their business units. 

Requirements

Other Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide full operations support to the Employment Services (ES) team in all aspects of recruiting, employee relations, and general HR services to managers and employees.
  • Serve as Pathways Recruiting systems administrator for ES, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of:  job requisitions and offer letters, and maintenance of email, offer and requisition templates, and application workflows.
  • Monitor and manage the Pathways Onboarding process for new hires.  Administer and deliver weekly New Employee Orientation, ensuring AMA hires are given a professional and engaging introduction to the organization.
  • Manage the AMA internship program by sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding interns, and administering the Pathways process

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experiencerequired.

 

  • 2-4 years demonstrated experience workingin a fast-pacedenvironment, supportingmultipleclients and completingmultiple, complexand detailed administrative projects, withconcurrent deadlines, onschedule, required

 

  • Strongverbal and written communication skillsrequired, as well asademonstratedunderstandingof administrative systems, required

 

  • Demonstrated excellent customer support skills, anda friendly, service-oriented demeanor,and approach to work, required

 

  • Demonstrated experiencein workingindependently,with minimalsupervision, required.

 

  • Demonstrated experiencein working collaborativelyand in team settings.  Must behighlyproficient in takingownership and management ofprocessesfrom start to finish, required.

 

  • Stronganalytical skills and attention to detail required, given the criticality,sensitivity,andtimeliness of information beingprocessed, required.

 

  • Excellent business writingskillsrequiredand ademonstrated understandingof businessmethods and administrative systems, required

 

  • Excellent technical skills required; strongproficiencyinMicrosoft OfficeSuite required.Prior experience with HRIS/Financial, ATS, andLMS systems a plus.

 

  • Demonstrated abilityto exercisediscretion and work withconfidential information, required.
