Fast-growing, stable, high-tech company (more about us below) is looking for a full-time HR Generalist who is high-energy, detail-oriented, articulate, well-organized and resourceful.

 

In your role as an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for administrating and organizing all aspects of HR.


Salary / Pay Rate:     DOE


Responsibilities Include:

Payroll Administration:
- Process and submit semi-monthly payroll through ADP, including reviewing timesheets for overtime hours

- Maintain current knowledge of wage and hour laws and legal rulings

- Properly fund various benefit plans including 401(k)
- Provide accurate and timely payroll reports to accounting

Benefits Administration:
- General administration of health insurance and 401(k) programs
- Conduct new-hire orientation on benefit programs
- Communicate benefit plan changes, open enrollment periods, and other events to employees
- Answer employee questions related to benefit plans, payroll, policies, and procedures
- Maintain benefit, personnel, notice and payroll records

- Monitor change reporting and eligibility

- Assist in annual benefit review and insurance renewal process
- Maintain and administer the company's vacation, PTO, and holiday benefit policies

File Management and HR Compliance:
- Maintain employee files/records following HR best practices and HIPPA requirements
- Process employee data and run reports in the HRIS
- Interpret and explain company policies and procedures as well as HR related laws and regulations

Employee Onboarding:
- Direct ongoing development of new-hire orientation program
- Prepare new-hire orientation documentation
- Conduct new-hire orientation meetings

Employee Relations:
- Coordinate verification of employment information
- Prepare separation packet


Requirements

- At least five years of HR experience; at least two years in an HR Generalist role
- Degree or certifications in HR preferred

- Strong working knowledge of CA and Federal employment law
