Full Spectrum Processing is a leading provider of effective business servicing solutions for a variety of industries and we are seeking an HR Manager & Recruiter. This position is responsible for all elements of employee related processes and activities, which proactively promote the corporate mission, values, service, safety, and profitability of Full Spectrum Processing. They will also be responsible for handling recruiting with the assistance of support staff for ongoing interviews and skills evaluation for positions in a variety of company departments. The incumbent must have an excellent understanding of compliance regulations in order to assure compliance with federal, state and local mandates relating to labor and safety issues. The incumbent must be capable of facilitating the needs and concerns of associates with management and the successful operations of the business.


Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Formulates, updates and administers company policies and participates in development of corporate long-range goals and objectives.
  • Analyzes and updates salary program to maintain competitiveness, and ensure compliance and equity within and outside the organization. Plans and coordinates, or outsources, training and development programs.
  • Oversees the maintenance and communication of record retention requirements.
  • Review and update job descriptions and determine need for salary grade changes through the job valuation committee.
  • Create and review company job listings.
  • Work with executive management to better target ideal candidates for open company positions.
  • Recruit and evaluate applicants for employment to obtain most competent candidates.
  • Supervise support staff to ensure productive processing of new hires and prospects.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews for various company positions and communicate directly with hiring managers on viable candidates for employment.
  • Provides information and direction to the safety committee and formulates programs, policies and safety training. Functions as the liaison for external auditing.
  • Keeps abreast of proposed or legislated regulatory provisions impacting labor relations and employment issues.
  • Develop, update and implement company policies and Standard Practice Bulletins to ensure consistency and equitable treatment of all associates.
  • Meet with and provide support to managers in resolving issues and disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • Represents the company within the community, promoting and maintaining a favorable image as a community service-oriented company.
  • Supervises associates to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Responsible for following company policies and procedures to ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines and the prevention of industrial accidents or illnesses.

Requirements

Background:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Human Resources certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to delegate and get things done through others.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills required.
  • Knowledge of windows-based environment including: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS system, etc.
  • Paychex experience is a plus

Experience:

  • Paychex: 2 year (Preferred)
  • HRIS: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Payroll: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Human Resources: 5 years (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)
  • Graduate Degree (Preferred)

Work authorization:

  • United States (Required)
