This newly created, full time position of Human Resources Program Manager reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.  The Human Resources Program Manager ensures that the HR programs and initiatives support the long term goals of the Village Board and the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Specific program responsibilities will include but are not limited to: employee onboarding, performance management, employee development, employee wellness program, employee safety program and other general human resources department responsibilities. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for many other employees in the Village.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or related field.
  • SHRM or IPMA-HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years experience in leading HR initiatives and developing programming.
  • Experience in the public sector arena preferred.
  • Experience in Tyler Technologies “Munis” software preferred.
  • Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
