Under general supervision of the Director of Talent Aquisition and in collaboration with department managers, Englewood Health Systems is seeking a seasoned HR recruiter to identify, assess and bring top talent to various clinical and non-clinical areas including challenging positions with longer recruitment cycles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process, performing full lifecycle recruitment activities, maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, as well as the community. 

The role requires experience with complex negotiations, developing processes that ensure a positive candidate experience and collaborating with hiring managers, physician leadership and senior operational leaders in the development of diverse talent pipelines of qualified candidates. Serving as the subject matter expert for hiring managers, duties include proactive sourcing through interviewing, resulting in high-quality pre-screened applicants. The recruiter will remain engaged with candidates throughout the hiring process through the first day of employment.

Job Essentials:

Recruits, screens and interviews for designated Medical Center exempt/non-exempt staff positions.

Meets with internal applicants regarding transfers/promotional opportunities; assesses internal applicants' qualifications for vacant positions.

Ensures all hires meet the criteria established in the job description.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the complete recruiting function, including: research, sourcing, networking, behavior-based interviewing and closing.

Shares recruiting trends and innovative techniques to maintain a competitive state-of-the-art recruiting practice 

Communicates effectively by proactively keeping others informed, sharing ideas in a team environment and promptly addressing recruitment matters.

Highly organized and actively participates in professional career days, job fairs, on-site recruitment, open houses, etc.

Advises supervisory staff regarding recruitment policies and procedures.

Assists in the compilation of statistics for periodic and/or special reports.


Bachelor's degree in a related field

Prior talent acquisition experience required; healthcare recruiting experience for clinical areas preferred

Experience with applicant tracking software is essential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
