Summary:

Manager of Human Capital Systems is responsible for all phases of human capital data management and is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of related systems, as well as how these systems interface with other proprietary and third-party systems/solutions. This position will also plan and direct ongoing processes and administration to support short and long range human capital shared services goals.

Description & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee system team and partner with HR and other business partners to ensure all transactions are in compliance with business rules, policies and standards
  • Provide training resources, tools, and techniques to assist the organization in achieving business goals and strategy
  • Demonstrates and encourages positive morale, maintains harmony among staff and works to resolve grievances when necessary
  • Partners with subject matter experts that influence system strategies and processes that cover all domains of the current SAP/Success Factors platform: Employee Central, Succession, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting, On-boarding, Analytics and Learning Management
  • Provides leadership to prioritization, communication, and engagement of HR Leadership to automate and manage all Hire to Retire Talent methods in the best interest of shareholders, management, and employees
  • Assess, define, and audit system processes and controls
  • Stays current with HR industry and HR technology trends, evaluate options against business requirements and make recommendations to management that improve existing business and system processes
  • Outline a forward-thinking vision to fill gaps of current state while engaging HR Leadership and other defined business stakeholders
  • Help prioritize and drive enhancement, upgrade, and process modification requests
  • Manage and analyze SAP/SF upgrade releases, assess capabilities, implement, and train organization on effective utilization
  • Assess system usage and system maturity level and ensure the right resources and support mechanisms are in place; accurate and sustainable training, measured by increased skills (e.g. knowledge of EC processes, reporting, key user interventions, etc.)
  • Develop and implement HR Analytics and metrics that are important to the business
  • Stimulate a culture that fosters ESS/MSS/Mobility/Digitalization
  • Develop an annual HRIS budget with IT participation, driving appropriate support and escalation as needed
  • Analyze and ensure data integrity using effective audit tools and practices
  • Partner with IT to identify and resolve technical issues impacting integration
  • Manage external business partners and service providers

Requirements

 

  • Ability to manage both day to day operations and project work
  • 2+ years managing a team with excellent team building skills
  • 2+ years of HRIS experience, SuccessFactors and manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information
  • Must be proficient in multiple software applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Uses good judgment and includes the appropriate people in the decision-making process
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and seeking clarification when needed
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
