JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for the HRIS system (PeopleNet) and other related HR Management Systems (Whistleblower hotline/incident reporting, LMS, Safety & Security), while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the HR organization. The HRMS Manager develops resources, supports implementation processes in partnership with the Senior Director International HR and Business Partners, provides end user support, manages and tracks issues within the systems and works with vendors on upgrades, future HRIS modules and resolution of issues. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact with a variety of stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring data integrity. This role also supports the SVP HR, Integration/Effectiveness with developing and managing the HR Dashboard and corresponding metrics, gathering information and metrics for Tier 1 & 2 quarterly reports and monthly Executive Committee reports as well as any other adhoc report required by the CEO and Senior Management Team.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRMS applications.
  • Provide prioritization of HRMS work assignments and management of functional team resources, and their activities.
  • Promote proactive approaches using the HRMS to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRMS capabilities.
  • Based on business need; negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT Dept., functional staff at the field locations, and others as appropriate.
  • Planning, budgeting and forecasting HRMS needs and applications. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRMS functionality.
  • When appraised, the HRMS Manager will review impending business issues that will have a direct impact on the HRMS and provide the SVP HR, Integration/Effectiveness with an assessment of the HRMS impact, scheduling considerations and other information required for a complete business case.
  • Review existing HR systems to determine if they are being utilized to their full extent or how we can better leverage them to increase efficiencies
  • Ensure HR data integrity through quality control/data reconciliation across systems
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, implementation resources, and training materials in multiple languages for end users (Spanish, French, English)
  • Review system upgrades and update system documentation to reflect changes, review how system upgrades impact existing processes and communicate with HR team.
  • Create data reports, metrics and queries to support end users with necessary workforce analytics
  • Prepare and develop HR metrics and maintain HR dashboard as required monthly/quarterly/annually
  • Provide support for Level 1 issues for end users, track issues for trends and keep log of resolutions
  • Support all HR systems (HRIS, Whistleblower hotline/incident reporting, LMS, safety/security etc.)
  • Create project management templates and tools for global HR initiatives
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
  • 5-7+ years relevant experience with HR Management Systems
  • Specialized or technical knowledge, credentials or licensing required for the position include: A working knowledge of HRMS software applications/products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, excellent organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes.
  • Ability to manage both strategic and tactical elements of the job
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary efforts.
  • Requires ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users
  • System implementation experience
  • Proficient in Spanish and/or French both speaking and writing preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and processes
