Starting Salary: $17.97 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Assistant is the first point of contact for employees, directing requests to the appropriate person. This position provides orientations - one-on-one or in small groups for all new hires. This position will primarily support the recruitment process along with other human resource functions including posting positions, processing applications, extending job offers, and providing HR software technology support for all hiring managers through highly detailed and organized communication. Other responsibilities include office management and administrative support. The successful individual will be a relationship builder and welcoming presence in the HR office

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES

Required:

  • Associate's degree required (preferably in business or related field)
  • Ability to build positive working relationships
  • Current experience using databases, Microsoft suite, Google suite, calendaring and cloud-based software
  • 2 years' recent experience working in an administrative/office role
  • Experience managing projects and/or processes (example: event planning)

Preferred:

  • Customer service experience in a professional setting
  • Experience dealing with people and sensitive situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises others in accordance with NMC's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, recognizing employees; addressing performance problems or gaps

WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position
