We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team in our Detroit office. The HR Coordinator provides administrative and recruitment support to the Human Resources department. The incumbent utilizes honed communication, organization and administrative skills to implement and execute effective recruitment strategies.  The incumbent handles sensitive material in a professional and confidential manner. The HR Coordinator interacts with and assists potential, future, current and past employees across all US offices to provide them with general information on corporate policies and procedures, employment conditions, benefits, and other employee/employment issues.


  • Coordinates appropriate documentation for new and terminated employees to comply with company policies and procedures and employment standards legislation
  • Updates employee information into relevant Human Resources internal systems to ensure all relevant processes and documentation is completed
  • Provides support for all employee benefit issues and administers the corporate benefit program
  • Researches and stays current in all aspects of employment law across the US offices
  • Liaises with managers to identify needs, job specifications, duties, qualifications and skills required to coordinate a recruiting process and attract highly qualified candidates, prepares job postings, screens resumes and assists the hiring managers in the recruiting process
  • Assists in the planning, development and implementation of safety policies and training programs to ensure employees have access to appropriate health and safety training and information and ensures corporate policies comply with local regulations/standards and safe work practices
