About the Job

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator in Glen Allen, VA. This position is responsible for providing generalist human resources support the Human Resources department in service of all RetailData employees company wide.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures prompt completion of the on-boarding activities for RetailData US and Canadian positions. Responsibilities include tracking onboarding paperwork, initiating background checks, creating offer letters, entering new hire data into the HRIS and internal database, and communication/coordination with appropriate RetailData internal partners as needed.
  • Responsible for processing all terminations including creating termination letters, updating payroll system and internal database, and communication/coordination with appropriate RetailData internal partners as needed.
  • Complete employee status changes including creating status change letters, creating Personal Action Requests(PARs) updating employees in the payroll system and internal database, and ensuring the appropriate RetailData employees are notified as needed.
  • Acts as primary Human Resources contact for Field Data Collectors inquires incoming on the HR Hotline.
  • Coordinates responses to questions and issues from field employees.
  • Verifies daily completion of I-9s
  • Conducts monthly verification of employee driving records
  • Ensures all data bases are updated to reflect current employee information (i.e., addresses, direct deposit)
  • Respond to and coordinate requests for information including unemployment claims and verifications of employment.
  • Ensures prompt distribution of live checks after payroll processing.
  • Creates and maintains all employee personnel folders.
  • Handles administrative duties relating to all aspects of Human Resource functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; and
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
