Who we’re looking for

Nuxeo is seeking a self-starting, energetic, enthusiastic, high performing human resources professional looking for an excellent opportunity to build a human resources function from the ground up as the Human Resources Director for its U.S Operations. Reporting to the CFO you will partner and collaborate with the executive leadership team to understand the business strategies and objectives, while applying HR solutions to align with the organization’s goals.

 

What you’ll be doing

The HR Director is responsible for:

  • Aspects of talent acquisition, on boarding, employee development and engagement, compensations, culture initiatives, retention, succession, performance management, immigration, payroll, employee benefits and HR policy development
  • Employee relations…expected to proactively identify, manage and facilitate the equitable resolution of job-related complaints and concerns.  
  • Playing a leadership role in building a positive culture and developing HR programs engineered to allow each employee to grow within the Company
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Oversight of human resources policies, procedures, systems and processes.

Requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and 7-10 years of applicable experience or Master’s degree and 7+ years of applicable experience.  HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Generalist background with working knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, talent development, coaching, performance management, payroll, benefits, policy development, total rewards, and HRIS. 
  • Personable and approachable with an upbeat attitude and sense of humor. 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership supporting business growth and performance.  
  • Ability to build strong, proactive collaborative working relationships with a broad range of individual styles at all levels of the organization, exercise good judgment, and earn trust through results and actions. 
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and “get your hands dirty.”
  • Flexible and adaptable, with strong communication skills, and ability to promote and maintain the momentum for positive change and development in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.  
  • Proven experience with developing and implementing human resources programs and leading change.  
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills…proactively analyze and interpret data insights, workforce analysis, and metrics…ability to communicate numerically.
  • Prior experience in high growth, high tech, innovative companies is a plus.
