Background: Our department is responsible for the administration and development of human resources at the Bank. We handle the implementation of the Human Capital Strategy and its deliverables, creating and implementing programs and methodologies in direct support of the Bank’s results-based business model, and focusing on the development of our talent and technical skills capacity.

The team: We focus on formulating and implementing programs to develop our leaders’ and employees’ skills in direct response to the needs of the strategic business areas.  You will report to our Division Chief for Leadership and Employee Development. Working with us you will be surrounded by a diverse group of people who have years of experience in all types of competency development fields including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, organizational change, communications and much more.

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee the design of leadership programs for a variety of clients, providing subject matter expertise in curriculum design and evaluation of programs.
  • Facilitate and deliver on demand courses, presentations and deploy learning programs with a project management approach, client-focused, high quality standards and efficient use of resources
  • Create learning programs for core and leadership competency development, training materials and learning aids using the appropriate face to face, blended or virtual technologies.
  • Conceive and implement communication and engagement strategies before, during and after learning interventions,
  • Design and analyze the results of the evaluations of the learning interventions, documenting and reporting them, evaluate the ROI and use the results for continuous improvement of our deliverables,
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and stakeholders to design and deliver effective, inclusive and cost-efficient learning solutions for staff in Headquarters and Country offices.
  • Use your experience in innovation and change management, you will participate in the creation, testing, piloting and roll out of new knowledge and learning products.

Requirements

Education: You hold an advanced degree (at least Master’s degree or equivalent) in Leadership Development, Change Management, Curriculum Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or development related field.
  
Experience: You have at least 4 (6 preferred) years of relevant experience in the design, administration and implementation of learning programs in areas related to leadership, change management, innovation, competencies, diversity and inclusion, client relationship management, and organizational development.  We will value an experience in Human Resources in a multinational business environment in the following areas: Leadership Development - experience in design and deployment of learning programs; HR programs - design and/or administration; diversity and inclusion themes; client advisory; HR policy implementation or organizational development.  Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills will help you make a strong impact.
 
Languages: Fluency in English is required, as well as proficiency in a second official language of the Bank (Spanish is advantageous, a working knowledge of French and Portuguese is useful).

 
Systems: Proficiency with HR systems as well as understanding of MS Office Package.
