DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 ·       Partner with the Director of Human Resources to develop a world-class cost-effective human resource organization

 ·       Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives

 ·       Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital

 ·       Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

  ·       Develop and execute employee relations programming, including effective employee engagement programs that nurture a positive working environment

 ·       Manage the recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes

 ·       Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

 ·       Maintain competitive pay practices and benefit programs by conducting periodic wage surveys and studying and assessing benefit trends and competitive pricing

 ·       Assess training needs and develop needed programs

 ·       Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records and occasionally representing the organization at hearings

 ·       Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional socie

OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY Promotable TO LEAD HR FUNCTION IN SHORT TIME PERIOD--Non-Union/Privately held company in printing, packaging industry. Local candidates only--no relocation assistance. 

Base compensation $80,000-$100,000 range

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-8+ years of Human Resource generalist background and leadership experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Significant experience developing and managing recruitment, selection and on-boarding programs and processes
  • Proven competence in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Substantial HR best practices, talent and performance management, employee relations and compliance background and experience
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit plans, OSHA administration and safety programming 
  •  Familiarity with HR systems and databases

 EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field; MBA desirable
