We are currently seeking a Learning and Development Manager specializing in Advisory Services and Industry learning to join our team, located in either our Manhattan or Roseland, NJ office.

We have a great opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to manage the strategy and execution of the development curriculum for a diverse group of professioinals who deliver client services in consulting business practice areas. You will produce a curriculum that is composed of live events delivered to CohnReznick locations, virtual programs and with external venders. This is a key role in the development and execution of national and global learning programs for CohnReznick’s Advisory Services and Industry Learning. CohnReznick’s professionals provide consulting and advisory subject matter expertise to clients in areas such as CIO and CFO strategy, cybersecurity, governance, compliance, risk assessment, merger and acquisition transactions, valuation, restructuring, dispute resolution and bankruptcy. CohnReznick serves financial, real estate and commercial industries globally. This role will work with key learning, business leadership and human resources to design, develop and deliver learning programs, both new and existing, to our client service professionals for their continuous development.



Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Conduct formal and informal assessment to identify learning needs.
  • Design learning approaches and individual programs based on needs
  • Develop program content and methodology, including instructional material in various learning formats (e.g., classroom, virtual, on-demand)
  • Collaborate with relevant firm functions and subject matter experts to develop content
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate programs with internal and external resources
  • Lead program implementation planning, including scheduling, location sourcing, and program logistics.
  • Design and implement program evaluation processes and tools to measure program results at learning, behavior change, and business impact levels.
  • Perform ongoing internal and external research and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices.
  • Manage multiple and complex projects


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.   Advanced degree a plus, especially in business or adult education.  
  • 5-7 years learning and development experience in the financial or professional services industries.   Consulting firm experience preferred.
  • Strong instructional design capability, including need assessment, program design and development, and evaluation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skill, including presentation and classroom instruction, and train-the-trainer skills.   Group facilitation experience a plus.
  • Strong executive presence and relationship development skills including negotiation and influence
  • Exposure to non-training learning methods (e.g., executive coaching)
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with others to produce results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Intermediate level project management skills
  • Ability to travel domestically (approx. 10%)
