Position Description:

 MountainOne is currently growing our training and development programs and is looking for a dynamic Learning & Development partner to join our Human Resources team. The L&D Coordinator is a brand new position within the organization and will take a key role in facilitating quality company-wide training programs that are engaging, cost-effective, and compliant. The Learning and Development Coordinator will work closely with all business lines and will be critical in driving staff development.   The Learning & Development Coordinator helps to ensure that the training experience is consistent, effective, and a true reflection of MountainOne’s core commitments and customer service standards.

 In addition to having a focus on training and development, the Learning & Development Coordinator will be an active member of the Human Resources team and will be a key contributor in various HR and organizational initiatives. The L&D Coordinator will report directly to the SVP Senior HR Officer and will be an officer of the bank.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of curriculum necessary to achieve the expectations of our brand and customer service standards in all lines of business;
  • Reinforcing MountainOne’s commitment to professional development by seeking meaningful and effective internal and external training opportunities for employees throughout the organization;
  • Working closely with the Sr. HR Officer to implement a comprehensive and consistent onboarding process;
  • Maintaining a centralized training calendar and library, seeking and developing effective training materials and resources;
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to develop quality training programs using both internal and external trainers and consultants;
  • Creating individual training records for all employees using LMS or equivalent technology; in collaboration with Sr. HR Officer, supporting managers and supervisors in creating individualized development plans;
  • Establishing hands on training programs for new and existing Community Banking employees; this will initially require frequent travel to branches and some regular travel on an on-going basis;
  • Working with the Senior HR Officer and branch administration to identify gaps in skills and product knowledge and making recommendations for training of new and existing employees- helping to ensure that customers in all branches and lines of business consistently have a positive experience and continue doing business with MountainOne;

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ experience working in a training or L&D focused Human Resources role;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience utilizing Learning Management Systems strongly preferred;
  • Ability to speak effectively in small to large groups required; hands on training experience strongly preferred;
  • Retail banking experience strongly preferred;
  • Highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to deal with and use discretion in highly confidential matters;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time outside a 25 mile radius of home office
