Manager of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS

Summary:

The HRIS Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for managing Compensation, HRIS, and benefits ensuring success and striving for continuous improvement. Implements and communicates programs and projects that support organizational mission and vision, including but not limited to compensation programs and projects, HR analytics and leader dashboards, benefits administration, and performance management. Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor market conditions and government regulations to ensure Riverside's pay practices and pay ranges are equitable, compliant, and competitive with the market.
  • Complete market reviews and work with recruitment team in making annual market adjustment recommendations.
  • Ensure benefits program is compliant and administered in accordance with plan documents.  Develop communication strategies of benefit programs and work with vendors to improvement employee engagement and satisfaction of benefit programs.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization with managers and leaders in discussing compensation/benefits, workforce management, and ensuring human resources is meeting their needs
  • Manage front desk staff and ensure smooth workflows of data/information.  Ensure team members focus on meeting the needs of our internal/external customers.
  • Consults with VP HR to develop program design methodologies for base compensation, job descriptions, job evaluation, market pricing, titling criteria, and performance management.
  • Handle required EEO reporting and other compensation/benefit reports.
  • Drives maintenance and optimization of HRIS systems.
  • Work with end users on HRIS solutions and ensure efficiencies are gained and system is maximized.
  • Ensure administration of employee anniversary/retirement gifts are handled efficiently.
  • Complete RFPs for various HR projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in business required.
  • Three or more years experience in compensation, benefits, and HRIS required.
  • Management experience required.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • HR knowledge of applicable laws and FLSA regulations.
  • Previous experience with Infor systems preferred.

License or Certification Requirements:

  • Current SPHR, SHRM-SCP and/or World at Work CCP preferred.
