The Manager of Human Resources will partner with various department leaders in order to enable the attainment of business objectives by delivering and enhancing HR programs and services. This individual will actively partner with leadership to ensure alignment of human capital strategies with business initiatives and strategy.

The Manager of Human Resources will act as a cultural ambassador, driving enthusiasm and energy throughout the organization. Key initiatives include, but are not limited to, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, compensation policy, employee benefits management and enhancement, and workforce planning.

1. Provide consultative and operational support to managers in the areas of organization design, talent identification and development, workforce planning, selection, retention and performance management.
2. Administer various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
3. Participate in developing department and organizational goals, objectives, and systems.
4. Develop departmental base salary and bonus compensation strategies and guidelines in order to ensure internal and external market equity.
5. Actively manage employee benefit programs with an eye on program enhancement as the company scales. Perform benefits administration that may include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
6. Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
7. Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
8. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
9. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business field required, master's degree preferred.
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential, and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential strongly preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive human resources experience. Experience within a high-growth, fast paced software or technology environment is preferred, but not absolutely required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources function including, but not limited to: FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEO.
• Previous experience implementing and/or managing an Affirmative Action Plan required.
• Previous experience with immigration processes preferred.
• Must be at Intermediate-to-Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Detail-oriented, service-oriented, and results-oriented.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strong business and professional acumen.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong research & analytical skills.
• Must have a high sense of urgency and customer service focus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constantly changing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several ongoing projects and commitments.
