Primarily responsible for HRIS, recruitment, pre-employment, orientation, and training support.  Provides troubleshooting and resolution for maintaining employee HRIS accounts.  Coordinates activities with stakeholders.

  • Recruitment of Human Resources (Paid and Unpaid)
    • Maintain Postings on all generic and niche sites
    • Comply with State and Federal regulations in Screening all applicants
    • Coordinate, and sometimes facilitate, interview process
    • Upon receipt of approved Offer Worksheet, draft offer letter for selected candidate
  • Onboarding
    • Construct and maintain Employee File to meet regulatory and Organization standards
    • Coordinate pre-employment processing, including:
      • Coordinate, and sometimes facilitate, reference verification
      • Coordinate Background and Illicit Substance Screening
      • Coordinate, and sometimes conduct, Education Verification
      • Coordinate Employment Verification
    • Create welcome materials, including gifts, uniforms, packets of information, and any other meaningful or relevant materials
  • Employee Health
    • Coordinate collection of Immunizations, record in Employee File, and present copy to Site Leader
  • Orientation
    • Coordinate, and sometimes facilitate, Orientation Program, including selection and scheduling of Presenters in an impactful, logical design
  • Training
    • Creates and maintains employee accounts in contracted Training Vendor’s online system directory
    • Schedules required initial trainings in Training Vendor’s online system directory
  • Record Keeping
    • Supports Employee Experience Director and Talent Retention Manager in maintenance of Employee Records in People Services File Room, as well as in ADP Workforce Now employee database
  • Employee Relations
    • Support employee requests, upon Supervisor approvals, for requisitioning uniforms, materials, information, and identification badges



  • Two (2) year college degree AND greater than three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources roles, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, human resources strategy, or other
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service with ability to interact with and instruct colleagues from beginner to advanced levels
  • Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office applications and ADP Workforce Now Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Orientation design and implementation, including engaging and scheduling presenters, and coordinating programming needs
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements surrounding sourcing, screening and selection of employees, and the pre-employment process
  • Competency in working with people of various cultures
  • Evidence of valid Arizona driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Prioritization and multi-task skills are required



  • Demonstrated experience as an Advocate for Health Care or Human Rights
  • Certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the HR Certification Institute (HCRI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Labor Studies, Human Resources, Communications or Business
  • Fluency in a language in addition to English (Spanish preferred)
