The Principal, Benefits position is responsible for directing the global development, implementation and administration of employee benefit policies, procedures and practices, including health and welfare programs, disability, life insurance programs, and stock purchase plans. This position will maintain accountability for the annual design, implementation, communication and administration of all company benefits, including all medical/healthcare, dental, vision, wellness, voluntary benefits, and short-term and long-term disability plans in the U.S. as well as execution of global employee benefits programs across CoreLogic international locations.  The position will be required to effectively lead and influence across multiple constituents within the organization, including executive leadership teams, the benefits admin committee, and the global human resources organization.  This role will have accountability for developing, directing and executing related Human Resource programs and practices in a dynamic, transformational environment while advocating use of best practices and progressive, cost-effective methodologies.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and administration of all global employee benefits policies, procedures, and practices for CoreLogic, including health and welfare programs, disability programs, wellness programs, and other benefits programs.
  • Proactively partner with associated vendors, brokers, and benefits providers that enable the day-to-day execution of CoreLogic benefits programs – actively build and maintain strong working relationships while driving effective programming and issue resolution, as required.
  • Lead efforts pertaining to the annual design of all applicable benefits programs – utilize industry and market surveys, brokerage reports, and other available data to analyze trends and develop recommendations for consideration by the benefits admin committee and executive leadership team.
  • Plan and direct human resource initiatives to include wellness programs, merger and acquisition support, benefits operational effectiveness, and other initiatives as assigned.
  • Manage benefit workflows to ensure timely, accurate processing of benefit transactions and timely resolution of escalated issues, as appropriate.
  • Lead enterprise wellness program projects and events, to include health screening events, health fairs and wellness committee activities.
  • Remain current on all government regulations involving healthcare programming and other health and welfare benefits programs – ensure that benefits plans are administered in compliance with applicable laws and regulations at all times.
  • Conduct audits and establish reporting protocols to ensure compliance with internal policies and plan guidelines.  Ensure vendors adhere to the same protocols and practices.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Expertise to drive core HR processes and programs in support of business goals.
  • Educate, coach and guide HR team members and broader HR functional partners on business initiatives and related requirements.  Oversee communications efforts around all benefits programming.
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational behavior or related field.  MBA or Masters in Human Resources preferred.
  • 5+ years’ directly related work experience in Human Resources and the administration of benefits, health and welfare, and wellness programs.
  • 2+ years’ prior experience managing people and leading teams to include effective allocation of resources.  Prior experience leading in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders to drive strategic business decisions while balancing the need for tactical execution of related processes and workflows.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative leadership style; ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the enterprise to drive required results.
  • Strong written/ verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills; solid decision making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyze situations and provide practical recommendations.  Sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver consistent results for the business and bring initiatives to successful completion.  Strong execution capability.
  • High degree of business acumen; strong fiscal aptitude. Strong technical aptitude; advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Role requires self-sufficiency from an administrative perspective.  General understanding of systems and their application to advance efficiency of operation.
