  • Perform job related payroll entry as needed.
  • Assist Assistant Controller in reconciling payroll related general ledger accounts.
  • Process payroll. Ensure accurate payroll records.
  • Research and respond to payroll questions.
  • Reconcile payroll with a 3rd party service.
  • Maintain the electronic clock database and ensure correct time entry.

 

Administration

  • Scan project management documents for electronic storage.
  • Answer telephone and receive visitors.
  • Assist HR with administrative requests.

 

Accounts Payable

  • Process Accounts Payable invoices as needed.
  • Prepare, enter, and distribute purchase orders.
  • Assist in responding to vendor and Project Managers inquiries and research discrepancies.
    • Post payments to customers’ accounts.
    • Prepare, enter, and distribute client purchase orders.
    • Set up jobs and related budgets in Timberline software.

Requirements

  • Experience with an integrated accounting system, preferably Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate/Timberline.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Flexible.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Detailed oriented and organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in construction management principles and procedures.
