Corner Alliance, a dynamic consulting firm is growing significantly and is looking for a FT Recruiter/People Specialist with 2+ years experience to bring in top diverse talent to serve our core purpose - help government do amazing things. As a People Team member, you will also support initiatives to create an enriching employee experience where our employees thrive.


You will:

  • Provide full lifecycle recruiting including writing job postings, active sourcing, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews with the hiring teams, checking references and making offers
  • Engage, nurture and qualify a diverse pool of candidates from a range of channels and sources
  • Partner with hiring managers and hiring teams at every stage of the recruiting life cycle
  • Drive the candidate evaluation process 
  • Act as a champion for candidates throughout their journey by ensuring they feel supported and set up for success
  • Create an efficient interview process and positive candidate experience with high touchpoints by setting expectations, communicating timely updates, and shepherding the interview process with the goal of creating a "wow" experience for our candidates
  • Source strong candidates with content and branding initiatives
  • Drive qualified employee referrals 
  • Create and engage a pipeline of qualified candidates at levels for which we hire most frequently
  • Represent the Corner Alliance brand and reputation
  • Support People initiatives in areas such as onboarding/offboarding, training, benefits, policies/compliance and employee relations
  • Make a significant impact to our growth and culture in attracting and engaging top, diverse talent and supporting an enriching environment in which employees can thrive in their careers with Corner Alliance

Location: You will work in our DC HQ office with some flexibility for remote work.


  • 1+ year of prior full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Comfortable with systems (we use G-Suite) including being able to quickly learn our applicant tracking system (JazzHR)
  • Experience in a professional services/government contracting environment a plus
  • Experience in benefits administration, writing human resources policies, or process development a plus
  • Ability to promote a culture that attracts, engages and retains top talent
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt quickly and re-prioritize throughout the day
  • Ability to produce results
  • Ability to handle nuanced situations
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to represent the Corner Alliance brand and reputation
  • US citizenship or permanent residency (no visa sponsorship)
