Job Profile: Waypoint Residential is looking for a rock star Recruiting Manager with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude to develop and execute a full cycle talent acquisition strategy to meet the demands of our growing business. This fast-paced, diverse role supports recruitment and talent initiatives for both corporate and property staff positions and is a critical part on the Waypoint Talent team. The Recruiter is the ultimate ambassador of the Waypoint brand and should be a beacon of energy, positivity and recruitment horsepower. This role reports to the Managing Director for Talent and works in our Atlanta, GA office.

 

Job Duties

  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to probe and discuss needs.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
  • Write compelling content for online job postings and job descriptions
  • Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Identify and use creative methods to source and locate candidates in an extremely competitive market.
  • Participate in the full recruiting lifecycle (source, screen, interview, offer)
  • Collect, analyze and share data on cost-per-hire, time to hire, and recruitment sources
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Keep abreast of trends, developments and industry activity; know the competitive landscape and provide relevant information feeds to the business
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates
  • Train managers on hiring best practices
  • Manage and leverage the use of external recruiters and headhunters.
  • Assist with Talent projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Required Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Marketing or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting at all levels
  • Exceptional recruiting business acumen including how to screen and sell candidates
  • Behavioral interviewing expert comfortable with data, analytics and assessment tools
  • Working knowledge of various employment and compliance laws and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to engage and influence
  • Current with social technologies, sourcing methodologies and tools
  • Ability to prioritize the workload and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and creative when it comes to process improvement
  • High expectation of discretion and professionalism
