Summary

The Recruitment Specialist will support the full lifecycle recruiting for top-notch professionals. This position will work collaboratively with hiring managers and external recruiters to source, screen, and schedule interviews for candidates. This position will develop strategies to drive top talent to Vision and create programs to increase retention

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for developing and executing talent sourcing strategies

  • Identify and participate in job fairs
  • Select and manage all third-party staffing resources

Responsible for managing the entire recruitment process

  • Create job approval requisitions and job descriptions
  • Review resumes and conduct phone screen / in-person interviews, including the management of any assessment tools
  • Facilitate interview process with all internal stakeholders
  • Generate offer letters and coordinate pre-acceptance background screening

Responsible for coordinating employee onboarding

  • Generate necessary onboarding paperwork
  • Coordinate onboarding schedule with Vision management (as needed)

Other responsibilities

  • Track recruiting metrics
  • Assist with reporting requirements, including EEO reporting
  • Performs standard office duties, such as faxing, copying, filing, and shredding
  • Able to report regularly to work and be on time daily
  • Provides support to the HR Manager and VP of HR
  • Performs other duties as assigned by VP of HR

Qualifications/Knowledge/Special Abilities Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
  • At least 3 years direct recruiting and hiring experience and at least 2 years of previous HR and training experience
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Volume recruiting, interview and on-boarding experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize differing workloads
  • In-depth understanding of full lifecycle recruiting
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player; thrives in a collaborative work environment
  • Knowledge of JazzHR or previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
  • Experience implementing new ATS preferred
  • Knowledge of labor classifications, OFCCP compliance and pay structures
  • Ability to foster relationships with candidates, hiring managers and vendors

Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Additional hours as needed)
