REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Overview

Certified HR professional with responsibility for Federal, State and Local employment compliance, leadership and supervisory development, positive and effective associate relations, staffing, succession planning and fostering the Company culture. The primary responsibility of the Regional Human Resources Manager is to provide support to employees with leadership, supervisory development, positive and effective associate relations, payroll, staffing, succession planning, and fostering Company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively guide day-to-day decisions about people and lead with behaviors which are consistent with the Company values
  • Payroll, benefits and leave administration and support
  • Timely and consistently respond to day-to-day requirements for reporting, analysis, compliance, performance management, investigations, recruitment and selection
  • Support employee development at all levels
  • Coach individuals and teams to higher performance
  • Identify and implement improvements in HR effectiveness and processes
  • Facilitate change management
  • Promote effective two-way communications
  • Personally contribute to achievement of business goals
  • All other job duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of experience in HR roles with increasing responsibilities some of which must have included line HR generalist responsibilities
  • Experience working in a non-union environment and executing union avoidance measures and tactics
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required
  • Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
  • Highest standards of integrity, excellence, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to influence all levels of teams, supervisors, senior management and others
  • Self-starter with a strategic viewpoint
  • Ability to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Ability to anticipate and analyze problems, resolve issues through creative problem solving and manage multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to adapt those skills to the audience
  • Knowledge of HR labor and employment law, and the ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now preferred
