Job Summary

Title: Senior Analyst / Senior Advisor Human Resources

Location: Midland, TX

Department: Human Resources

Our Senior Analyst / Senior HR Advisor, will have a proven skill set in data aspects of human resources and will also have a secondary skill set in compliance, benefits, compensation, or employee relations. Initial assignments will be heavily focused around data projects management.

The incumbent will work directly with the CHRO to create various analyses of various programs. S/he will act as an internal expert, will be both highly detail oriented and capable of efficiently and effectively managing large scale data, have a savvy approach to advising on HR matters, and will view the HR team as an internal customer group.

 

 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • HR Analysts capture, research, analyze, and present data as assigned
  • Understand and meticulously manage data and processes, according to OFCCP compliance, and internal business processes
    • Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
    • Perform detailed interpretation and analyses of HR data points/demographics around benefit costs/participation, headcount, salary history, tenure, compensation surveys, etc., to provide information for use in assessing human capital projects
      • Clarify requests for projects, highlight issues, and make recommendations to address issues and priorities
      • Write detailed reports and make oral presentations to teams as required
      • Troubleshoot data and reports for accuracy
      • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
      • Work closely with appropriate HR team members to gather relevant information for multiple projects and ensures accuracy of data and calculations
      • Assist/advise Leaders on various HR processes in alignment with Company policies and procedures
      • Work with various partners in the organization to gather non-HR related information that may be needed to support HR processes
      • Review, verify, and accurately setup Excel spreadsheets for various assignments, ensuring timely updates and submission of projects
      • Research and gather HR information for various audit requests.
      • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality related to all aspects of projects, records and files

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Accounting or similar discipline; preference for quantitative programs of study
  • At least 7+ years’ experience in an analytical position, preferably in Human Resources or Compliance in an OFCCP compliant organization
  • At least 2+ years’ experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills, with particular expertise in Excel
  • At least 2+ years of HRIS system knowledge (preferably ADP) and knowledge of Human Resources processes
  • Ability to ensure SOX compliancy with all tasks performed within the scope of HR assignments
  • Ability to operate both independently and as part of an awesome team
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, not just details, but to provide executive level summary reports
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work with minimal instruction
