Senior Manager, Enterprise Compensation

Job Summary:
Leads, designs, and administers company employee compensation programs, including job evaluation, salary administration and incentive plan programs.  Ensures through audits, and reporting that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Compensation, Performance Development and Workforce Intelligence, researches the external markets and develops base and variable pay recommendations that competitively position the Company in the attraction and retention of talent.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
 

 

  • Conducts job evaluations, compensation reviews, external market benchmarking and labor market studies to ensure market competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains Raytheon’s job classification framework and salary structures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the countries, regions, and market segments in which the Company operates.
  • Manages the participation in, conducts and/or purchases exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Provides enterprise compensation compliance audit readiness expertise (DCAA, OFCCP, and FLSA).
  • Provides guidance to HR and managers on company pay policies and practices; and interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating salary practices.
  • Collaborates with HRIS, Payroll and IT teams to configure and maintain job classification tables, grading framework and salary structures.
  • Collaborates with Finance to develop and release quarterly financial performance associated with Raytheon’s variable pay programs.

Requirements

Education, Experience, Skills:
 
 

  • BS/BA from an accredited university or college.
  • 12 years of progressive human resources and compensation responsibility
  • Proven capability in the execution of compensation programs administration.
  • Broad understanding of compensation legal requirements, regulatory issues, and global laws.
  • Ability to translate and analyze data into convincing reports and recommendations.
  • Ability to mentor and train staff.
  • Strong interpersonal, teaming, advocacy, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Must work well independently with a high level of responsibility and collaborate effectively in matrix environments.
  • Demonstrated evidence of adaptability, agility, detail-orientation, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, and Human Resource Information Systems.
