Current Assignment

Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Equal Employment Opportunity Programs, the incumbent will be responsible for the day to day activities including but not limited to the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Diversity & Inclusion, and Title VII programs.

Incumbent is responsible for performing various EEO compliance duties including: monitor District's selection process; conduct both internal and external EEO investigations filed by applicants and employees; conduct EEO training for all staff; report and review employment data for Equal Employment Opportunity Program (EEOP); conduct public outreach meetings; analyze and monitor availability, utilization and placement goal data; develop statistical reports; develop annual EEO goal progress report for Executives and Managers; and supervise/lead subordinate staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience defined in the current assignment, as well as demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local Civil Rights laws, including Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity.
  • Strong ability to work independently, analyze and interpret district policies and procedures, prepare complex statistical and analytical reports; establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.
  • Advanced knowledge and performance of Microsoft Office Suite (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Affirmative Action software program/database, Learning Management software programs; and other HR-related software programs.
  • Strong personnel and employment practices knowledge and experience.
  • Strong EEO and Title VII investigative process knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to working in a fast-paced, high volume work environment/setting.

Minimum Qualifications


A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university.


Three (3) years of (full-time equivalent) verifiable professional administrative, analytical and/or budgetary experience.


Additional professional experience as outlined above may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis. A college degree is preferred.

Selection Process
