Sr. HR Business Partner

We are currently seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to join our People and Culture team.

As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Senior People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) will assist in the development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives and programs including organizational change, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, compensation analysis/administration, employee development initiatives, and rewards and recognition, to support business strategy and achievement of site objectives.  Will work closely with site leaders and corporate functional teams to foster positive employee relations and an environment which is responsive to the needs and expectations of employees. This position will support several functions within our organization: Quality/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Production, EHS, Facilities, & Information Technology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business in developing an understanding of the people and organizational strategy needs and assist in designing and executing solutions in the areas of talent acquisition, change management, organizational design, business process improvement, performance management, and effective communication
  • Proactively initiate dialog with management, provide advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps
  • Execute annual processes such as Talent Management, Succession Development, Compensation Review Process, and integration of new hires
  • Facilitate the effective resolution of day to day HR matters including investigating complaints and proposing recommendations to ensure fair and consistent treatment based on past practice, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coach business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, employee communications, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development
  • Ability to learn and run data reports utilizing systems such as Oracle and analyze data as required
  • Create internal communications and manage projects through completion as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent and build the employer brand
  • Providing counsel to leaders on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with operational leaders in the development of a more empowered and accountable culture with shared priorities
  • Conduct research, manage projects and create internal communications as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications & Background

  • U.S. Citizenship required 
  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organization Development or Business required
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in HR is required; Business Partner experience required
  • HR Certification preferred
  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits
  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects and attend to daily HR matters while maintaining focus and follow through on issues until resolved and delivering results as committed
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Possess current understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness at all levels in the organization and across cultures. Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are preferred.
